Epsilon v1.2 update


Level transitions and a menu are still in development - but here's what I've done in the meantime!

CHANGE LOG:

  • NEW SOUNDS!!!
  • Automatic Respawning! (release all keys to trigger)
  • Height-dependent screen shake (triggered by max double-jump height or higher)
  • T tiles can be dropped through by pressing the down buttons
  • Block-clipping has been smoothed
  • Graves have been overhauled to function much better
  • Tweaks to level design and code
    • Added more edge barriers to early levels
  • Patched a few movement bugs, and created more :D
    • Fixed player being stuck in double jump if key was held
    • Fixed tile jump reset glitches
    • New bug where player doesn't push away from wall after wall jump
    • New bug where player occasionally clips through overhead tiles (mostly patched?)


DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP:

I may do yet another rewrite to address some fundamental flaws in my game engine.
Things are getting really convoluted, and I'm really limited in what I can do.
